Thermal Imaging for Temperature Screening

HIKVISION systems offer automatic or manual temperature screening using thermal imaging cameras. These advanced detectors and algorithms used in the thermographic cameras are designed to detect elevated skin temperatures .

These systems can be used to rapidly scan and preliminary temerature screening of of people entering buildings with an accuracy of plus or minus 0.3 degrees Centigrade.

There are 2 systems available The first uses a bullet camera connected to a PC system This scans people as they approach the camera, which can be placed strategically to scan people as they enter a building.

The system can scan several people at once and report the skin temperature of each to an accuracy of +/- 0.3 deg C.

Limits can be set and if the camera scans an individual with a skin temperature above the limit, an alarm will be activated. That person can then be further checked using other methods if needed.

The second simpler system utilises a hand-held camera unit.
